Season 5
Summary:
In the very first episode Thrill Kill, Lilly returns after recovering from the bullet injuries while on hostage in the previous season finale episode. Now team reinvestigates an old murder case of a Rock n’ Roll singer and it is found that he was not murdered at the same place where his body was discovered. Team has to solve the murder case of a woman who was in coma since 18 years after being shot and now she died while in coma. A murder case comes into light where a 14 year old math whiz was murdered after his half brother exploited his amazing skills for card counting and safe cracking. Human remains are found in the bottom of a well, which belong to a murderer victim of 1938. Team does solve a date rape case of 1982, where a young man dies after being raped by several female college mates. This time Lilly and Scotty travel to Virginia to solve a case. In the season finale episode, Ghost of My Child, a mother contacts squad to tell that she just saw her son in a park who was burnt in apartment fire in 2005.
This episode got the maximum ratings in comparison to all the previous seasons. It earned 9.4 ranking. In this episode, a popular and well- liked young man dies after a date rape by several female college students. Now the squad has to locate all the culprits who committed this crime in 1982. This proved to be a really challenging task for the Philadelphia squad. Check out this episode to find out whether the victim gets justice after this long time or not.
